Tsaghkadzor- Lake Sevan- Jermuk

Drive to Lake Sevan – the emerald of Armenia, a beauty under the sky. Lake Sevan is considered to be one of the largest sweet water lakes in the world, situated at an altitude of 1,897 meters above sea level. Climb on peninsula from where the fascinating view on the Lake is open. Visit Sevanavank monastery and head to Jermuk. Jermuk waterfall is one of the most striking sights of the city. It is located at an altitude of 2000 meters and is the second largest waterfall in Armenia. Water here falls from a height of 68 meters and its hitting creates myriads of shining sprays.

It is no coincidence that this waterfall is so popular among tourists. Jermuk offers activities for people loving active rest as well. One of them is taking a ride on the ropeway. The ropeway meets international standards. It takes you up one of the mountains where visitors are invited not only to enjoy the wonderful view but also ride a horse or have some drink in the café up the mountain.
