Jermuk-Noravank-Khor Virap-Yerevan
Today we will check out Jermuk hotel and drive to Noravank. Due to its charming medieval architecture and magnificent landscape, the Noravank Complex is a must see when in Armenia. The monastery is best known for its two-storey Surp Astvatsatsin (Holy Mother of God) church, which grants access to the second floor by way of a narrow stone-made staircase jutting out from the face of building.Drive through the pretty Ararat Valley to the 4th century monastery Khor Virap,come closer to Ararat’s piedmont near Armenian-Turkish border. As we know, the most famous symbol for Armenians – Mount Ararat isn’t located on the territory of Republic of Armenia. Nonetheless, Khor Virap offers the best view to admire the mount.
